The Alfa Laval MAB 103 is a high-speed, solids-retaining disc stack centrifuge designed for the purification and clarification of mineral oils, fuel oils, lubricating oils, and industrial fluids. Function: Separates water and solid contaminants from oils using centrifugal force. It can be configured flexibly as either a purifier or a clarifier. Applications: Commonly used on marine vessels and industrial setups for marine diesel, biodiesel, distillate, lubricating, and hydraulic oils. Design: Features a horizontal drive shaft with a friction clutch and brake, a worm gear running in an oil bath, a vertical bowl spindle, and a hinged frame hood for easy cleaning of the solid-wall disc bowl. Capacity: Hydraulic capacity reaches up to approximately 1.4 m³/h (varying by fluid viscosity and temperature). • Power: Typically powered by a 0.75 kW motor operating at standard industrial or marine electrical frequencies (50/60 Hz).
